“ Nature is our greatest luxury ”
– Jim Olsen
To create a space imbued with a feeling of nature that one can escape to, however briefly, is something of an act of revolution in the modern world.
Our lives tend to clutter our minds. It knocks us off kilter. Nature, as a remedy, has a way of reconnecting us with the present moment.
It awakens all senses in a way nothing else can. By harnessing nature in the form of a garden we are brought back into ourselves, reminding us of both our true power and our vulnerability.
Nature is not something to be tamed and bound for our entertainment but to be understand and respected as an integral part of our presence on this planet. It is with this ethos that I begin to create a garden.
